The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of characters, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

Episode 3 concluded with a dramatic pause and introduced the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the main group to undertake their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might appear out of place, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group understands precisely where to go next after a brutal opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into the secret base, assaulting the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to sell off.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their position as key figures in the powerful family could help the team access places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a life debt to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them few options but to head to the remote area in search of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we learn that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Viewers can anticipate learning which characters will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
