Sir Keir Starmer is expected to urge allies to supply Ukrainian forces with more long-range missiles to target Moscow's positions during discussions in the UK capital on this Friday.

Sir Keir will host Ukrainian President Zelensky alongside what's known as "coalition of the willing", including more than 20 of Ukraine's allies who have pledged to grant the Ukrainian government protection commitments once fighting stops is brokered.

Zelensky has been pleading for several weeks for further long-range weapons from allied countries, a step that Russia has warned would worsen the hostilities.

President Zelensky is travelling from Belgium, where he conferred with European representatives on Thursday requesting funding aid.
