Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of banned ceremonies and terrifying transformations echo through the obscurity." The storyline features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret cult.
The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an special katana alongside several items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
